"In an original finale, Ron Rubey succeeds in presenting an affectionately-ironic examination of 'the philosophy of life, according to the tango': a little bit of melancholia, some Mediterranean grandezza, a pinch of symbolicism, a hint of decadence.
The fantasy full and multifaceted choreography, the ensemble's brilliance of dancing, and – last but not least – the enormous commitment of all participants (Andreas Jaeggi contributed some highly striking costumes.) were rightfully and boisterously acclaimed on opening night."

Die phantasievolle Vielseitigkeit der Choreographien, die taenzerische Brillanz des Ensembles und schliesslich auch der enorme Einsatz aller Beteiligten (Andreas Jaeggi steuerte einige wirkungsvolle Kostueme bei) wurden bei der Premiere zu Recht stuermisch gefeiert."
