The word "chaos" in this context is a French gardener's term for cutting back bushes in an irregular way, in opposition to the geometrically designed motifs of the over-trimmed French gardens in the style of Andre Le Notre. These humanoid forms and ghost-like shapes of half dead greenery which can exclusively be found in very old parks have always fascinated me.
